In the wake of a fatal car accident that occurred early Wednesday morning a memorial has been erected at the corner of 12th st. and Union Hills. Just outside of the KSC building something awe inspiring took place. Hundreds of miniature American flags were planted in the grass and circled the base of the trees. Yesterday the Student Leadership Council (SLC) hosted their annual “welcoming celebration” with the Paradise Fiesta. The event was held outside in the commons area from 11am till roughly 1pm. Volunteer students passed out “care packages” while Baja Fresh (rather than their traditional BBQ) offered burritos, chips and drinks for only three dollars. Meals were free [ READ MORE ]
